The above quote reflects on my approach to developing ideas for lessons I want to teach in my classes. As a STEM and Digital Technologies teacher, this allows me the freedom to develop my lessons in an organic and iterative way. By adapting my Digital Technologies | Hangarau Matihiko pedagogy, I’ve been able to experiment with new ideas in STEM while continuing to use established methods involving coding, electronics, and robotics.
It can be challenging to succinctly define what I do within my lessons. I am using this reflective profile to provide a detailed look at how I have built and implemented a STEM and Digital Technologies program over the last few years, while also celebrating the accomplishments and progress I have made.
